Has anyone else had it happen where they die in the countdown for mushroomy kingdom (the outside one)?

I have a replay saved of this if you need it.

Could it have been avoided if I just ran earlier?
Because I've only tried that once and it seemed to work even though I couldn't run until the announcer said go I'm thinking I gave myself a little bit of aerial movement to survive.

Yes, it happens. It may be avoidable depending on your character, it may not. Most people don't play on that stage.

ALSO, FOR EXTREME LULZ:

Do the event match where you play as Bowser v. three Marios on mushroomy kingdom on hard difficulty. Where you have to reach the end of the stage? It makes that stage go faster and you have to survive a full loop on it.

In Minus, all four players die before the countdown ends.

Just noting that this is fixed in the current version now. You can fix this by disabling the level freezer code.

I just tried this now. It is indeed hilarious. HOWEVER; Bowser (who you control) is actually able to move.

Mind you, he can only really START moving.. he still dies either way.
